1...2...3... jump!

We tried to get all three mid air :) De-De was a little late on this one.

Helping Hands

I took this photo just to remind myself down the road how much Sophia loves helping out around the house. :) Jazmine (our "chihuahua") always decides that she wants to go outside when we're sitting down to eat. Sophia LOVES to get up from the table and open the door to let her out... messy hands and all.
She loves to sweep up messes. She uses the hand-vac when necessary, but prefers her small hand broom and dust pan (Thank you papa Roger and Grandma Connie for that Christmas present). She likes to help me push the vacuum. She LOVES to be in the kitchen (just like her mommy ;) ha) I can't be in there with hearing "I help you" while she pulls a chair over form the table.

I'm looking forward to having this 'little' helper around the house when Doe-Boy gets here!

We're getting in our baby practice!

Look at all these babies!! Rumor has it Charlie is ready for Doe Boy to make his entrance so we can level out the nursery playing field with Maya and Bella.
Sophia loves being with the babies. She talks about them all the time. We'll see how much she actually loves this little brother once he starts invading her house!

I think she's excited....

Sophia saying hello to her baby bruh-er at about 26 weeks.

TEXAS!!

Mom and I travelled to Waco to see Ashleigh. I pulled off the surprise of the century. I told her I just couldn't travel in my condition. It was perfect. We happened to fly into Dallas on Thursday... the blizzard day! The 1.5 hour drive to Waco took a good 3 hours, but we made it safely. I drove and mom prayed and sang worship songs the whole way. :) I posted the surprise video on Facebook. It was such an ordeal to get it on there, I'm not going to attempt the blog.

Not only did I get to see Ashleigh and take part in our secret Kappa Kappa Gamma Initiation ceremonies, I got to see some of my most favorite people in the whole world! Mom and I stayed at Lesley and Brett's. Such a blessing. Christen and Jennifer drove down from Dallas Saturday and the four of us spent the afternoon and evening together.
It does my soul good to be with these ladies!!

After dinner at Ninfa's the four of us decided to drive around and find Ashleigh at her parties on campus. So what if we're 30 and I'm 30 weeks pregnant! We did find her and Christen and Jenn crashed the party. Ashleigh thought it was hilarious. I did too. :)
I love you girls and can't wait to do it again soon.
And Ashleigh... Come Home Soon! xoxo

It's Still a Boy!!

We had an ultrasound Monday morning to check in on our little man. In our first ultrasound the placenta was too low so we had to check in to see how things were progressing. Good news is placenta has moved up and we now have the option to atempt a VBAC instead of a repeat C-Section. If I had placenta previa we would have to repeat. That's the news I was hoping to hear!
"Doe Boy" is head down and measuring about 3 lbs 10 oz. Just about 50th percentile (that's where Sophia has always been). She said "You're baby is as average as can be." Yeah right! :) He is still a mover so it was difficult to get a good pic, but his profile is below. She said he has big feet (measured over 2") and she could see hair!
I can't believe we are 31 weeks today. He's "gonna be here before we know it"! Right dad? :)
