I'm not even mad... I'M IMPRESSED!

Tonight Sophia and I had a pizza picnic on a towel and watched Beauty and the Beast on TV. After the movie, while getting ready for our bed time routine, I sat Micah down on the towel. He's not really mobile yet...but boy is he crafty!! Sophia's plate was on the other side of the towel. When I came back into the room this is what we watched unfold...

Some of my favorite lines from Sophia:
"He got my pizza stick!"
"They're only for big girls!"
"Can you take that away from brudder?"

Do you think they're related?

From purple mountains majesty to amber waves of grain!

We are moving to Frisco, Texas!

Our family has accepted a call to plant a church just north of Dallas and we are thrilled! (I will blog more later about our journey so far.)

Today we announced it to McDowell Mountain Church. Jared keeps saying "We don't want to leave, but really want to go!" I am just so thankful and feel so blessed by the support we've already received from MMCC. We are truly grateful for the staff and community here.

Looking at a February move date. :)
Love Y'ALL!!

Recent "Sophia-isms"

It's time for an update on Sophia's funny ways.

Sophia loves traffic lights. She will look a mile up the road and inform us each time it changes before we get to it. "Green means go. Red means stop. Yellow means slow down!" Sometimes she gets a little angry when a car goes in front of us after a red light. "That's OUR green light Mommy!" We're working on the share the road idea.

Sophia is great at spotting green cabs. It helps that they're everywhere. Makes for a nice distraction... "Sophia, look for a green car!" Keeps her busy. The other day she told me that when she gets big enough to drive she's gonna have her own "special green car... Its gonna be bootiful!"

The other day I heard her say "I'm making two mommies!"

Curious, I turned around to see this face...
She's getting pretty good at it.
Jared told me I shouldn't encourage it. She's gonna go blind.

Anything happening in the future has to have "to" on the front of it.
To-morrow
To-morning
To-later

She tells us "Keechow" each night when we leave her room.
Translates to "Careful".
Mom may or may not have tripped stepping over her gate a few times.

A couple of recent Sophia conversations

Me: Sophia, are you gonna pick up the play room or what?
Sophia: What.

Me: Peek-A-Boo Micah!
Sophia: No... It's "TiggerPooh" Momma!

She just so beautiful and so sweet.
Never a dull moment with our princess.

Zoo Day!

Today Mom, Karie and I loaded four kids into the car and headed to the zoo. It was a beautiful day. We had so much fun and left before any breakdowns occured... perfect!

Just... you now... milking a cow.
Averie LOVED the goat. She had to lay down just like the him.

Nothing like a little cousin love!

Watch out world!

Little man is starting to figure it out!

More Grandpa!

My mom called her great grandpa "more grandpa" so it only
seemed natural that our kiddos should call
our grandpa "more grandpa" too :).
We LOVE hanging out with More Grandpa!

Happy Halloween!

We had some friends over for sloppy joe's and trick-or-treating.
Baby Bella stayed back to sleep and the moms took the rest of the kiddos out.
Maya was so happy Sophia shared her glow-stick wand :)
This is the life...
We finished up at the best house on the block :)
Thanks daddy!

Happy Birthday Jewell-Baby!

Sophia's got to go to her friend Jewell's birthday party!
It was a costume party :)
And Micah got to hang out with his friend Jolee.

Catch! (kind of)

Micah likes to "play catch". It's more of a push (totally intentional)
then I retrieve... baby steps.

Here is Sophia playing the new game with him.
She gets a little distracted by her favorite food at the end.

And here's the game mommy-style.
