Play Date with the Boys

Sophia and I went to our friends house a couple weeks ago so she could play with her friends, Oliver and Tyler. Bri, Christy and I were pregnant together back in 2007. How did we get all these two year olds??

Sophia had so much fun running around and wrestling with the boys. I don't think she'll have a problem with her little brother once he gets big enough to take her down. She's a tough cookie! Thanks for a fun morning friends!!

Last Preggo Standing...

It's been six weeks since the first of four babies from MMCC made her entrance! This is the last pic of Jenny, Robin, Christine and I preggers together. One by one they've arrived and in about nine weeks, the last one should join his new nursery playmates!

Grandma Lori Visits

Grandma Lori came in to visit from WA. Sophia LOVED waking her up every morning, spending some good quality time with grandma and making brownies! Lori got Sophia an apron for Christmas so she wore that to keep the chocolate away. So cute!

It didn't take Sophia long to figure out the

"licking the spoon" process!

Maya Claire

Tonight Jenny brought sweet Maya Claire over for some girl time. Sophia loves her. :) She kept running back into the room to check on her.. yup.. still sleeping. It is so exciting for me to see how much she loves babies and is so attentive and gentle.

She has a very lucky baby brother on the way!

She helped Jenny feed Maya a bottle and

just wanted to rub Maya's head.

So sweet. Melted heart.

Big Girl Bed

A few weeks ago we decided we would get one of these "transition" things out of the way for Sophia before "Baby Bruh-er" joins us in the house. The big girl bed seemed like something I could handle since she's not quite ready for the real deal potty training yet. "They" say kids usually digress in that area after the little one comes anyways.

So big girl bed it is!

First night was terrible. First nap time, a little better.

Second night, not so bad.Second nap, good! Sweet sleep relief. Ahhh.....

We did find her sleeping in front of the door (after quite the meltdown which we tried to ignore). This was day 3 or 4 nap.

And then this morning...

She wakes up anywhere between 4-6am and opens her door. She will whine a little then get back in bed, turn on her jungle and sleep until 7/7:30. But somewhere in that time she takes off her PJs and throws them over the gate??

This morning she said, "Hi Mommy! See my pants? I'm done!"

Well if she's done, she's done!

On a blog note: I've decided not to back track and catch up.

It hurts my head to think of doing all of the holidays.

I'm just going to try to be better about posting more regularly
