Sophia is on the move! She has a sweet crawl... not so much a crawl as a peg-leg move. She pulls herself forward and just pulls her left knee back under her. I think she just really likes the sitting position... not quite comfortable enough to get on all fours yet. She just started this past week in Washington so I don't have great video of it yet, but thought I would share anyways. She's a blast!

More
Sophia has learned to sign "more". It kinda freaked me out! I mean we've practiced here and there and all of the sudden one day I just said "more?" and she did the sign! It never ceases to amaze me how much she learns everyday! Here's one her first "more" experiences.

Our Sick Sophie
Sophia has had a lower respitory infection for the past week and then got an ear infection on top of it. Our poor sweet baby has been all kinds of medicated, which I will say has been extremely scary for me! She got a fever the day after she started her breathing machine (of course that was a Sunday). I worried about giving her Tylenol on top of the breathing medication and Dimetapp she was already taking. Then to add on the ear antibiotics and drops the next day! ahh!! It has all been a little overwhelming, but I'm happy to say she is coming out the other side. Today was a great Mother's Day!!
Here are all of her meds and treatments that we've had to stay on top of for this week...
And here is precious Sophia getting ready for the breathing routine. She gets sooo annoyed by having that mask in front of her face. ..
Luckily, Jared discovered that if you replay the beginning song from "The Backyardigans" over and over and over (for the ten minute treatment) she seems to be okay. Sometimes she even giggles a little bit. "Hi I'm Pablo. And I'm Tyrone..." We can recite the whole thing if you want, just ask.
We're down to twice a day on this now. Things are finally looking up for the health in the Doe household!

Peek-a-Boo I see you Oliver!
Chino Bandidos!
We're back
Well, I have been a bit behind on the blogging. We've had an eventful few weeks. First Papa Roger and Grandma Connie came to visit for a week. The next week Grandma and Grandpa Doe came to visit. Towards the end of their visit we took Jared to the emergency room and he had his appendix taken out! This week Sophia has been sick and today is running a fever. Like I said...eventful! Nevertheless...

Emma can't even believe her mom keeps making her come to the zoo!
And Sophia likes to eat her gross shoe. What can you do?

Here are some photos from the day the girls went to the zoo with Papa Roger.
